Tour Summary

We offer you to make an unforgettable journey to the town of Pushkin where the Tsars’ main ex-summer residence – Tsarskoe Selo (“Tsar’s village” in translation) is situated. The main landmark of Pushkin is the Catherine Palace: a richly decorated building with baroque and rococo interiors name in honor of the wife of Peter I – Catherine I. The collection of the palace includes a large number of precious works of art, such as furniture, porcelain, statues, canvases and so forth, including personal belongings of Russian emperors and members of their families. During the excursion the guests of the Catherine Palace accompanied by our professional guide will visit one of the miracles of the Russian architecture – the Amber Room – a room with walls fully covered with plates and decors of amber. You’ll know the mysterious history of the Amber Room and’ll see the magnificent results of the restoration works.

Open daily from 10am to 5pm, closed on Tuesdays and the last Monday of each month.

NOTE FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS!!! The price of this excursion does not include our transport port pass and tour-tickets issuing. Extra fee is 2-14 EUR per person, depending on the quantity of people in your group.
